Everyday Inspiration,

Pastor’s Moment: Please allow me to repeat a message, I think deserves to be repeated.

..But Balaam answered, “Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not disobey the command of the LORD my God in even the smallest matter. ”

Balaam was responding to an offer to be rewarded with all the Gold and silver he wanted, God had instructed him not to go.
His response challenges me a lot,
” I could not disobey The Lord my God in even the smallest matter” Many of us are entrusted with duties and responsibilities and there are so many shortcuts, how many stretch their hands for someone else in line with the instruction Love your neighbor as you love yourself?

Since you got a job, or a chance to recommend someone outside your sphere and family have you ever thought about that guy you saw on FB asking for a job even though you did not know him?

Have you ever thought of asking your village church to invite you for a youth function just to encourage the youth there to keep some chicken, pigs or rabbits?

Have you ever thought of sacrificing that coffee at your coffee joint or bottle of beer and hand some youth group for
empowerment?

Have you ever said a prayer to that effect – empowering someone else? Have you ever gone a week without praying for yourself and instead praying for rains, better crop, the sick, the vulnerable, your friends?

God has entrusted you with strength and opportunity however small you may think it is so that you make the life of another better.

To them that much is given, much is demanded – my mum always told me as I grew up,
Invest in making the world a better place ‘even in the smallest of matters’ ..multiply
your blessing to mean good to other people and you will be planting a harvest of blessings
for yourself.

Luke 16:10 emphasizes the message, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”

God Bless You and Keep You.
